What's the difference between the four salmon varieties?
The candied strips are long, chewy pieces slow-smoked and glazed until sweet and sticky. The candied peppered strips add a cracked-pepper crust for a sweet-and-spicy kick. The maple nuggets are bite-sized pieces glazed with real maple, and the peppered nuggets are savoury bites with a bold black-pepper finish. Together, they take you from sweet to spicy.
What does "hot-smoked" mean?
Hot-smoking cooks the salmon as it smokes, giving it a firm, flaky texture and a rich, smoky flavour. Unlike cold-smoked lox, hot-smoked salmon is fully cooked and ready to eat straight from the package. No preparation is needed.
